As for the album of the year we could not decide so, Solomon, assign an ex aequo to two albums:
Arcade Fire, "The Suburbs" and Mumford & Sons, "Sigh No More"
The Arcade Fire are permanently in my iPod playlist from the time of Neon Bible, but with this album have definitely veered towards the Olympus. With this work have been able to take off some weight to their music without losing too much verve, intelligence and perspective.
Unlike speech for Mumford & Sons that their sound with pop folk-rock sprinkled enough started out great, invigorating a bit 'a British wave that showed a hint of fatigue.
